3 números que eu vejo pessoas não conseguirem lembrar são o 0 (que podemos ler de duas maneiras diferentes), o 11 (que é o mesmo nome da personagem principal da série Stranger Things) e o 12 (que parece o 20, mas é 12 hehe). Ouça abaixo os números.

Uma dica bem simples para memorizarmos esses números é a ênfase de pronúncia na palavra “teen” no final de todos eles:
13 – Thirteen
14 – Fourteen
15 – Fifteen
16 – Sixteen
17 – Seventeen
18 – Eighteen
19 – Nineteen
20 – 29
A partir do 20 em diante, vamos fazer uma pronúncia diferente nos números que terminarem em 0 e adicionar os número de 1 à 9 no final deles. Segue os exemplos:

24 – Twenty four
25 – Twenty five

Uma dica bem simples para memorizarmos esses números é o final “ty”. A intonação é feita no começo da palavra:

Comparando 13-30, 14-40, 15-50…
Veja a tabela abaixo e ouça a comparação dos números da coluna do lado esquerdo e do lado direito. A primeira parte é feita a comparação dos números, do lado esquerdo para o direito. A segunda parte é feita pela leitura completa dos números da coluna do lado esquerdo e depois a leitura do números da coluna do lado direito.

Vamos praticar números entre o 101 e 999. Para memorizar a leitura dos números em inglês, é simples:
- Comece lendo a unidade da centena (hundred – do 100 ao 900)
- Depois leia as dezenas (número que podem variar de 1 até 99)

A partir do 1000, teremos uma nova leitura: thousand. Todos os números da milhagem terão a leitura do “thousand”. Vamos praticar com os seguintes números:

A letra K: 10k, 100k
A letra K é usada para representar o milhar. É geralmente usada para arredondar números e pode ser usada na escrita, mas ouça para ver como é lida:
1k (1.000 = one thousand)
5K (5.000 = five thousand)
10K (10.000 = ten thousand)
20K (20.000 = Twenty thousand)
30K (30.000 = Thirty thousand)
90K (90.000 = Ninety thousand)
1.000 – 1.999
Quando o desafio é ler números acima da milhagem, atente-se as seguintes regras:
